The founder of Nordic Revenue Forum Finland Hanna Lak is one the leading revenue management experts in Finland. Previous to starting her own company HMMH Consulting in 2009 she was the director of revenue management development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Since then she has coached, trained and consulted independent hotel owners and hotel chains creating value for their customers and owners through improved processes and profits.

Giuseppe is an experienced hospitality consultant specialising in revenue management and operational systems implementation. Strong wealth of the industry knowledge combined with innovative approach inspired Giuseppe to co-found Optimand. London based, tech start-up which provides business intelligence and data analytics to luxury hotels across Europe and US. Customer centric approach drove every aspect of Giuseppe’s professional focus from the very start of his career at the world’s leading resort Forte Village. Giuseppe continues building on his achievements whilst providing one of the most advanced systems to personalise web offerings in hospitality.
Director at Infor Hospitality Nordics
Kim Spolén is the director Infor Hospitality Nordics and has a background of working at several of Stockholm’s leading hotels for a total of 20 years, among them Sheraton Hotel, Strand Hotel and the Sergel Plaza Hotel and has also been a consultant during the opening of, among others, a 5-star hotel in Prague. He has wide experience of working with PMS, Channel and Rate Management and is also a frequent speaker on how to work with and optimise social media strategy in hospitality business. Before joining Infor, Kim worked for Hoist Group.
Hannu Vahokoski has worked in business development in both sales & marketing as well as consulting role for over 20 years. Hannu is specialized in understanding consumer behaviour, service design, and customer experience. He is familiar with Shopper marketing since working for Leaf sweets company. Hannu has worked in hospitality business for the past 10 years, where he started with Otrum the TV-systems and was in charge of global hotel chains in Europe. Hannu got an idea for a new type of service for hotels two years ago, when he noticed digitalisation was still far from the daily life of the industry. - The Hotelway was born. ”My passion is to get things rolling without ”hick ups”- and provide more for the customer at the same time”, Hannu.
Manager, Research, BI, MI & Opportunities
Katarina Wakonen joined Visit Finland in 2011. She started her career in travel business in the Research and Development department. Since 2014 she has been Research Manager for the Business Intelligence services at Business Finland’s Visit Finland unit. Her educational background is in social sciences. Katarina has a versatile experience in the private sector, ranging from international market research to media business and travel industry. She is enthusiastic about finding new ways to collaborate with tourism industry and partners. She values international co-operation between analytical colleagues. Finland’s tourism has been booming in the past couple of years, which has nourished the demand for better data management. Katarina enjoys working in cross sectoral teams, facing challenges and finding the solutions.
Client Relations Manager at Benchmarking Alliance
Henrik has a long background within the hotel industry, mainly from Revenue Management, distribution and in-house sales at Radisson Hotels in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Henrik has solid experience from Revenue Management within Meeting & Events. The latest position Henrik held was as Revenue Manager in the newly opened Stockholm Waterfront Hotel & Congress Centre where he built and managed the Revenue- and in house sales departments. Since 2014 Henrik is responsible for customer relations in Benchmarking Alliance with focus on the conference benchmarking product.
