The founder of Nordic Revenue Forum Finland Hanna Lak is one the leading revenue management experts in Finland. Previous to starting her own company HMMH Consulting in 2009 she was the director of revenue management development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Since then she has coached, trained and consulted independent hotel owners and hotel chains creating value for their customers and owners through improved processes and profits.

Stephan is passionate about hospitality and all the crazy people working in it. He is part of HQ revenue since 2019 and as Business Development Manager for Germany & The Nordics he supports hoteliers on a daily basis with how to develop their strategy. With opening new hotels and helping hotel brands go to market, Stephan thrives on the complexity of hospitality’s technology landscape. Stephan’s wide range of knowledge dates back to his formative experiences in hotel operations from Front Desk to Revenue Management for brands like Hilton, 25hours Hotels, and Fraser Hospitality. “They called me Wikipedia or MacGyver – Everything is possible”

Since childhood Cristian was fascinated by maps, by geography and by the climate of different countries. As the years passed, this passion shifted towards a career in tourism. After working in hospitality in California, in 2012, Cristian decided to pursue Tourism studies back in Europe, choosing Austria as his educational base. Afterwards he took the road to Asia, to work in the hotel industry for a premium hotel chain, based in Singapore, between 2016 and 2018. Seeing the growing digitalization segment of the industry, a shift was made towards travel technology, when Cristian moved to Germany, to work for GIATA and develop the hotel solution for content.

Michael Nowlis serves as Programme Director for Executive Leadership Programmes at CISL, University of Cambridge. Nowlis has a broad background in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Nowlis is an active management consultant, providing business advisory services to multinational corporations, government agencies, academic institutions and trade associations in the hospitality industry.

Samantha Williams is an award winning revenue specialist and currently holds the senior management position of Director of Business Development at Profitroom. Before joining Profitroom she worked as a senior revenue and product manager working with a mixed portfolio of over 75 hotels and prior to this held sales and marketing manager positions for leisure resorts and hotels. Highly respected and with a strong background in hospitality, revenue management and leadership she has worked across numerous hotel marketing and management disciplines and is able to relate to the challenges that hoteliers face.

As Shiji's Director of Sales, Thomas Danielczak is responsible for Central Europe, including DACH, BeNeLux and the Nordics. Hotelier by heart, Thomas worked in various positions with Marriott, Rezidor and Starwood, as well as individual hotels. Prior to Shiji, he worked with HRS Global Hotel Solutions as Manager Global Sales Strategy and Steering, where he defined and monitored sales and go-to market strategies across all 25 offices of the HRS Group.

Most of his professional life Janne has been working with travel and gathered wide international experience from diverse areas of the travel industry, business segments and sales channels. In his current role as a Director, Business Travel at Amadeus Finland Janne is responsible for corporate travel related business in Finland and works closely with travel management companies (TMC’s) and corporations in the Finnish market. Outside work, Janne loves all kind of sports and enjoys spending time in the nature.

Tijl Speetjens is Senior Business Development Manager for OTA Insight in EMEA, and joined the company 4,5 years ago. He focuses on engaging local and global players in the hospitality industry, assisting them in challenges they face across the digital landscape, and aims to provide hoteliers with the tools and insights to overcome their technological barriers. Tijl has also previously worked at Availpro, Expedia and Booking.com, where he has managed a number of European territories, and helped hoteliers navigate distribution challenges, providing them with insights on how to win in a Revenue Management based environment.
Business Development Manager for OTA Insight in EMEA
Igor Nys is a Business Development Manager for OTA Insight in EMEA, having joined the company 6-months ago. Igor focuses on the Benelux and Nordic regions, helping hoteliers to make smarter revenue, distribution and marketing decisions through the use of technology and digitalisation. Igor has previously worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International and berner + becker revenue management, where he held numerous Revenue Management positions in Frankfurt and Munich.

Owner and Founder of Benchmarking Alliance. Perra is a dedicated hospitality professional, with International experience. His strengths lie in the ability to network, establish long-term relations and to develop a strong team around hi, with high focus to get the job done. In particular, he enjoys projects, which allowed him to set up new concepts, new ideas and new cultures. Over the past years he specialized in Revenue Management and benchmarking and started Benchmarking Alliance in 2010. He is really keen on putting the benchmarking culture higher up on the agenda in the hospitality industry across and will continue developing this to new levels.

Henrik has a long background within the hotel industry, mainly from Revenue Management, distribution and in-house sales at Radisson Hotels in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Henrik has solid experience from Revenue Management within Meeting & Events. The latest position Henrik held was as Revenue Manager in the newly opened Stockholm Waterfront Hotel & Congress Centre where he built and managed the Revenue- and in house sales departments. Since 2014 Henrik is responsible for customer relations in Benchmarking Alliance with focus on the conference benchmarking product.
Hannu Vahokoski has worked in business development in both sales & marketing as well as consulting role for over 20 years. Hannu is specialized in understanding consumer behaviour, service design, and customer experience. He is familiar with Shopper marketing since working for Leaf sweets company. Hannu has worked in hospitality business for the past 10 years, where he started with Otrum the TV-systems and was in charge of global hotel chains in Europe. Hannu got an idea for a new type of service for hotels two years ago, when he noticed digitalisation was still far from the daily life of the industry. - The Hotelway was born. ”My passion is to get things rolling without ”hick ups”- and provide more for the customer at the same time”, Hannu.
